Who are the Kindest Animated Characters you have ever seen?

hijikata Toshiro from Gintama, He's a great guy who makes me feel like if he was real I would be his friend/join his shinsengumi. He's the type of guy who doesn't sway even if bad things happen to him, he looks forward yet he's willing to look back when his friends need him. He takes all the burden on himself. so if i was his friend i would help release him from few of that burden :)
