My friends think he likes me, but i don't know if i messed everything up?

I was in love with this guy, Tom, but he was only using me for ual things. Ugh anyway after a year of being strung along by him I became pretty good friends with his best friend Josh. It didn't mean anything though as Josh had a girlfriend and I was still hung up over Tom. One night we had a huge heart to heart conversation whilst drunk that ended with us kissing, we didn't tell anybody as it would be messy. He broke up with his girlfriend a few days later and from her perspective is was a mutual break up as they had been drifting for ages. We talked/messaged almost constantly and have heaps in common (including liking all the same music) we made each other a mix cd each and swapped them at school. About a month after the kiss I went to a party that he wasn't at, but Tom was. In a horrible situation I drunkenly tried to kiss Tom and when he pulled away I told him I liked Josh. Josh found out about the whole situation, so he knows I tried to kiss his bestfriend and he also knows I like him. After this he didn't talk to me for a week (it is easy to avoid each other without trying as we are in none of the same cles, but we manage to bump into each other a lot when we want to), after a week of being ignored he sent me a message saying he had made me a mix tape and wanted to mail it to me. I gave him my address and now I am waiting for it to arrive. He sent me that message 4 days ago and everything was good over messages but we still haven't spoken in person. I am hoping the mix tape makes everything clearer, but the anticipation is killing me!
