Why is my radio tuning in to a foreign station?

I just got an iLuv i177 ipod dock/radio clock. It was working fine when i tried tuning in to some local FM radio stations when i first set it up, then i tried plugging in my ipod and hear how it sounds. When i switched back to radio mode, its suddenly tuning in to some weird foreign station(i think its malaysian) even though i did not change the station? i tried searching for another station but it keeps staying on that malaysian station, just with varying amounts of static.
