A question about Jesus's Bloodline?

Jesus and Mary Magdalene had a daughter Sarah and the current heir is some french girl as said in the movie The Da-Vinci Code. If Adam and Eve were our ancestors, then everyone in the world has the same blood. Everyone has the same blood of Jesus. Why do they complicate this thing in the movie saying that only some french girl has the bloodline of Jesus
