How long does amoxicillan take to work?

I was diagnosed with a bad sinus infection and bronchitis last Tuesday. The doctor prescribed 875mg of amoxicillan twice a day. I've been taking it for 8 days now and still have sinus pressure and pain, my ears really hurt, and I just generally don't feel well still. Should I go back to the doctor?
