My granddaughter was born with no bones in four fingers on left hand. has anyone else exp. this?

She had a bone transplant. Wonderful surgeons took two bones from each foot (two toe-bones ea. foot) and transplanted them to her hand. she is now moveing and bending them. and they are growing.
