Gitmo closing, symbol or substance?

You cannot separate the symbol from substance because they both go hand in hand. Obama used it as a tool for support in the election and will most likely follow through on the promise since it is only one of a handful that he can really accomplish. I only hope that he is not foolish enough to let them set foot on American soil because the war criminals will be come the babes of the ACLU and have more rights than any citizen does. They should continue to be handled as war criminals subject to the Geneva Convention and not our Constitution which is for U.S. citizens.
